How to Donate
The scholarship program, when fully funded at $25,000, is converted by Bons Secours into being perpetual and forever, basically like an annuity payment that funds the scholarship awards. Therefore the ultimate goal is to reach this funding level to make this scholarship permanently funded and available for generations of nursing students.
The original goal was to reach this amount by November 13th, 2021, Sophie’s birthdate. While strong progress towards this goal was accomplished, there is still a ways to go. The good news is that we have until early year 2023 to be eligible for the $25k perpetual scholarship program. Please continue to keep the Sophie Guillot Excellence In Nursing scholarship fund in mind for future year gift giving we all strive towards fully funding this scholarship.

The scholarship is managed by the Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing Office of Financial Aid and the funds are held by the Bon Secours Richmond Health Care Foundation.
